The Molluskan Zodiac takes another stride forward this week by adding additional information about the ten mollusks that make up the zodiac. For each one of the mollusks, you can now find out their lucky (and unlucky) numbers are.

For instance, from the result of weighted statistical sampling of a diverse molluskan ecosystem, I can now reveal that the Snail has the following lucky and unlucky numbers:

Lucky numbers: 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, and 21
Unlucky numbers: 4, 6, 7, 9–12, and 14—20

See each Mollusk's page for details of their own guiding numbers. I hope this information gives you extra insight when reading your weekly horoscopes.

Sun, 13 Dec 2009 12:54:00 -0800 The Molluskan Zodiac http://blog.keithbradnam.com/the-molluskan-zodiac http://blog.keithbradnam.com/the-molluskan-zodiac

The Molluskan Zodiac is now 14 months old, and of course 14 is a very important number in the zodiac (though not quite as influential as 29) so I thought I'd write a few words on this semi-important occasion.

First of all, I'm happy that the zodiac has a new home at zodiac.keithbradnam.com. The zodiac is happy too, so that's double happiness at half the price, or something like that.

It is fair to say that I've somewhat neglected the zodiac over the last few months. It's been rolling along under it's own steam and I have of course ensured that new horoscopes are published every week. Today I made some important changes to the methods of 'divination' that allow me to produce these (highly accurate) horoscopes. However, due to various international copyright restrictions, I am unable to tell you want these changes are...that is unless you are resident of the British Virgin Islands.

What I can tell you about is the fact that you will hopefully notice that if a horoscope mentions any of the hallowed Mollusks (and also the Slug), it now contains a link to that Mollusk's description.

I will endeavor to improve the horoscopes in the coming months. Scientific accuracy matters a lot to me, and so I will continue to make changes which will hopefully make the Molluskan Zodiac a contender for the 'Best Animal Zodiac' award at the Annual Awards for Astrology and Horoscopes (Aaah).

Mon, 07 Dec 2009 09:12:10 -0800 zodiac.keithbradnam.com is the new home for the Molluskan Zodiac http://blog.keithbradnam.com/zodiackeithbradnamcom-is-the-new-home-for-the http://blog.keithbradnam.com/zodiackeithbradnamcom-is-the-new-home-for-the
This weekend I decided that I would start moving my blogging activities away from my (Apple hosted) MobileMe site at keithbradnam.com and start using Posterous more. Then I realized that I could redirect blog.keithbradnam.com to point to the new blog. I've also since realized that I can unify some of my other websites under the keithbradnam.com 'brand' (and you are right to want to decapitate me for using the 'b' word).

The Mollusks are much happier now that they are so much closer to home. So it just remains for me to say:

K.

P.S. And thanks to this page for showing me how to set up Google Analytics on the blog
